About the Position

Do you want one of Norrtälje's most fun summer jobs? Are you social, solution-oriented, and passionate about service and communication? Then you are the one we are looking for to join our visitor service team this summer. You will be part of our destination development team in the business unit, where you, together with engaged colleagues and actors in the tourism industry, highlight everything that Norrtälje and Roslagen have to offer.

We are looking for two tourist inspirators for the 2025 season:

One position focusing on visitor service, where you will work at the tourist office and at selected locations in the municipality to meet visitors and provide service.
One position focusing on content and marketing, where you will produce and gather material for our digital channels and ensure that Norrtälje is visible and heard during the summer.

Job Description

Tourist Inspirator with a Focus on Visitor Service:

As a tourist inspirator, you will help visitors discover Norrtälje, Roslagen, and the archipelago. The role involves providing service at the tourist office and at selected locations in the municipality.

Responsibilities:

Staff the tourist office and provide service to visitors on-site.
Meet visitors at selected locations in the municipality and answer questions.
Disseminate information about attractions, activities, and services within the tourism industry.
Work with the event calendar and update information about local events.
Participate in events and activities as needed to inform about the tourist offerings.

Tourist Inspirator with a Focus on Marketing:

In this role, you will work on producing and collecting material for our digital channels, focusing on marketing Norrtälje as a tourist destination.

Responsibilities:

Create inspiring content for social media.
Photograph and film to highlight tourist attractions and experiences.
Publish and plan content for digital channels.
Staff the tourist office and provide service to visitors as needed.

We are looking for someone who has:

Experience creating content for social media and websites.
Familiarity with photography, video, and basic editing.
Strong writing skills and the ability to tailor texts to the target audience.
A sense of storytelling through text, image, and video.

We believe you are:

Creative, self-driven, and have an eye for content creation.
Organized and experienced in digital publishing.

Qualifications

For all positions:

Fluent in Swedish and English, both spoken and written.
Driver's license (B).
Experience in tourism, service, and communication is an advantage.
Good knowledge of Norrtälje and Roslagen is a plus.

Employment Type

Both positions are temporary contracts between weeks 24–33, and we hope you can work the entire period.

Scheduled working hours will be distributed during the day, on weekends, and some evenings.
